How to paint a car with Rustoleum for under 100$ dollars.
After a bit of research on the
net. you will find a number of references to painting cars with
Rustolem using rollers. We decided to use a variation of this technique
and use spray cans instead. The results are impressive to say the least.
As with any paint job surface preparation is key! the paint no matter
how it is applied will look exactly like nail polish if much care is
not taken to make the surface as near perfect as possible Wet/dry sand
paper up to 400 grit was used to make a surface with very few
imperfections. Enough can not be said about surface prep. , if you have
never preped a car for paint before I URGE you to research this topic a
bit first.
this paint has very nice covering properties and realy looks like a
high quality auto enamel. One of its best traits is once dry you can
sand an buff it to a high gleam eliminating most imperfections after
application (try that with most non lacquer enamels )
