DEWALT 36V tool batteries to power electric bikes, scooters ect!

Goals of this project were to use the state of the art Lipro-4 batteries from Dewalt without voiding the warranty of the packs and retaining full function of the on board B.M.S.
I also wanted a modular switchable system. Basically I used the Dewalt flashlights as a base and added the resistor network described by Neo-dynamics http://www.neodymics.com/Images/V24ProtoSwitch070818E.pdf in addition I wound a inductor made from a scavenged ferrite torrid core from an old computer power supply with 10 turns of #14 coper wire.
Getting all to fit back in the case was a chore but can be done. While certainly not the most difficult electronics project some care must be observed , use heat shrink tubbing where possible. and triple check all your connections. The following 11 pics plus the U tube videos
