How to flash a custom ROM on a
Samsung Fascinate

how to flash your ROM on your Samsung fascinate can be very confusing!!
after allot of study I have come up with this simple guide on how to
flash using a piece of software called ODIN. When looking for a ROM
look for a ODIN compatible download, it will be in a .MDF or .TAR format
1.
Download ODIN
2.
enable debug mode (applications, development)
3.
Take out battery
4.Plug
USB cord into computer , open Oden
5.
Put device in "Download Mode" by plugging in USB cable to
phone while holding down volume key (you will see it go to download
mode)
6..
there should be a yellow COM port acknowledging your phone)
7..
Put your MDf or .tar file in PDA section (never
use Phone section)
click start
8.
When it says reset and your phone screen goes black, unplug it and put
in batt and cover and reboot
9.
Enjoy!
NOTE;
you need to have the correct drivers installed for your phone on your
putter...
